I recently took my car in for service at Princeton Honda, and unfortunately, this is now the second time I have had a terrible experience with their service department. I specifically asked for a detailed quotation and breakdown of costs before any work was done. Despite making this clear upfront, they proceeded without providing one. When I got the final bill, I was significantly overcharged compared to what I expected based on standard Honda service pricing. They offered very little explanation for the charges, even when I questioned them. I have had my Honda serviced at multiple other authorized Honda dealerships and service centers, and every single one has been professional, transparent, and upfront about costs from the very beginning. Princeton Honda stands out in the worst way they seem to have a consistent practice of not disclosing prices clearly before performing the service. This lack of transparency and apparent overcharging is disappointing, especially from a dealership. I won't be returning for future services. Potential customers should be very careful and insist on written estimates before agreeing to any work.

An outstanding service center with genuinely nice people who value their customers. The service manager Bill Demeter runs an efficient shop of highly-skilled technicians who do excellent work. I purchased my 2026 Ridgeline at Honda of Princeton, but since I live about 30 minutes away, I wouldn't typically drive that far when there are other service options closer to home. Well, after my first service visit to Honda of Princeton, I may rethink that position. Bill thought it could take up two hours for my issues to be addressed, but it was completed in an hour. Well done Bill and team!

These guys do great work. They are efficient and friendly. They keep careful records of all the work that was done on the car. They have a nice waiting area. They drove me home and picked me up. All of this is great. Here's what I don't like: I have a 2018 CRV with 60,000 miles and they recommended new spark plugs, new water pump and new timing chain. Come on you guys! The original factory spark plugs should last 100,000 miles, the water pump should last 150,000 miles and the timing chain will likely last 200,000 miles or more. Nowhere in Honda's manuals or literature does it ever recommend changing the water pump or timing chain! You wanted me to spend $3000 on totally unnecessary work. Moreover when I picked the car up you "forgot" that it had free oil changes for life, until I reminded you. It is unfortunate that your outrageous "recommendations from the mechanic" cast such a negative light on your otherwise exceptional service department.

I have been coming to Honda of Princeton for over 14 yrs. Eversince I purchased my first Pilot and we now have purchased at least 6 cars. This guys are fenomenal and true profesionals in every sense of the word. When it comes to pricing for cars, deals and service. I have other dealer near me in Brooklyn and Staten Island who I've tried overtime but they don't come close. I much rather drive the extra hr. to ensure that my car gets service right. One thing I love the most about Princeton Honda is that you will always get the same excelente customers service experience, quality service and they treat you like family. Special thanks to Barry Magnus, Chris Luberto, Austin Magnus, Uma Ramamoorthy, Katherine Lopez and Hannah Husein for always going the extra mile to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and taking care of me during my visits. Keep it going team. Last but not least NO I don't work for Honda just giving credit where is due.

I recently spent over $500 here for a head cover gasket replacement. While they replaced the gasket, they did not bother to clean the oil residue around the engine area. For the price paid, I expected a more thorough and professional job. Leaving the engine dirty after a repair not only looks careless but also makes it hard to tell if there are any new leaks. Very disappointing service quality for the cost.
